The municipal cultural centre in Svatobořice-Mistřín (ObKD) was established in 1992 as a contributory organisation of the municipality, building on a tradition of civic cultural life that goes back to the interwar period. It stages theatrical and musical performances, exhibitions and courses for all ages, and also runs a summer cinema with advance ticket sales. The building stands next to the municipal office and houses an independent restaurant and guesthouse.
