An Actor at Home, a Cane in Hand

A famous actor, played by Petr Rychlý, unexpectedly collapses on stage. His best friend and fellow actor arranges for a theatre prompter - who is secretly in love with him - to care for him at home. The result is that the actor transforms into one of the characters from famous playwrights every day. The prompter's devoted care does not sit well with the actor's busy and rather neglectful mother. Will the mother or the friend prevail? Which of the actor's alter egos will ultimately win? And will there be a happy ending?
