Jakub Zindulka (born 17 February 1966 in Hradec Králové) is a Czech actor, director, playwright and set designer. After graduating from DAMU he spent nearly thirty years at the J. K. Tyl Theatre in Plzeň (1988-2016), and in 2008 he founded Divadlo Dialog in Plzeň, which he has run ever since as a hub for thirteen theatre ensembles mixing professional and amateur performers. His comedies Manželský čtyřúhelník and Tchýně na zabití have toured nationwide through the Fanny agency. He is the son of actor and Czech Lion laureate Stanislav Zindulka.
Zindulka wrote and directed the production of The Dalai Lama's Cat (based on David Michie's bestseller) for the SPODINA ensemble; the premiere took place on January 19, 2026 at the Dialog Theatre in Plzen.
In February 2026, Zindulka celebrated his sixtieth birthday; on the occasion of this jubilee, he was received at the Plzen town hall by the cultural affairs councilor Eliška Bartáková.
In April 2025, the premiere of the production Classic in a Porn Shop (P. Turrini) directed by Zindulka took place, featuring Czech Lion Award winner Michal Kern.
For the 2024/2025 season, the Dialog Theatre prepared ten new premieres; Zindulka directed Feydeau's comedy Champions within the SPODINA ensemble and was preparing his own play The Maiden or the Eagle.
The Fanny agency presented Zindulka's new play Ghostly Against My Will, which expanded the range of his comedies distributed throughout the republic.
