New Year's Concert & Andrea Kalivodová

Join us on January 1, 2027 at 5 p.m. at Besední dům in Brno for a New Year's concert with a festive toast. Czech opera singer Andrea Kalivodová, known as the Czech Carmen, will perform the finest works from Czech and world opera and musical theatre, accompanied by the beloved Moravian Piano Trio. During the intermission, all guests are invited to a festive glass of wine.

The Moravian Piano Trio is a trio of masters who have performed together in the same line-up for a quarter century. Jana Ryšánková on piano, Jiří Jahoda on virtuosic violin, and Miroslav Zichý on deep cello tones will take you on a journey through time and emotion - from classical masterpieces by Beethoven to the most beautiful film melodies by Ennio Morricone.
