Moravské klavírní trio

About

The Moravian Piano Trio is a chamber ensemble from Brno, Czech Republic, performing in the same lineup since 1999: Jana Ryšánková (piano), Jiří Jahoda (violin) and Miroslav Zicha (cello). Founded in 1997, the trio has given hundreds of concerts at home and abroad, and with over 25 full-length recitals of classical trio literature it ranks among the most repertoire-rich ensembles in Europe. Alongside the classical canon, it performs its own virtuosic transcriptions of operatic and symphonic works and regularly collaborates with internationally acclaimed opera singers such as Eva Urbanová, Dagmar Pecková and Štefan Margita.
