We invite you to a concert of film and classical music - Film&Classic Music Chomutov "Majesty of Music". This is a truly exceptional event of its kind in the Ústí Region - a grand evening of film and classical music performed by the Czech Radio Symphony Orchestra in full ensemble, including a 40-member choir. Throughout the evening, famous compositions from beloved films for all generations will be heard. The programme will be complemented by melodies from world-renowned classical composers. You will hear, for example, the Formula 1 Theme, music from the films "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly", "E.T.", "Apollo 13", "Rocky", "Winnetou" and more. Classical works will feature R. Strauss, C. Orff, W. A. Mozart, M. I. Glinka and others. We will transform the most modern sports hall in the Ústí Region - the Rocknet Arena Chomutov - into a huge concert hall. This event promises to attract a wide audience across all generations, not only lovers of classical music but also viewers captivated by iconic film melodies in a unique orchestral arrangement.

Conductor Jan Kučera is a versatile Czech conductor, composer and pianist with an exceptional sense of style, energy and communication with the orchestra. He serves as conductor of the Prague Symphony Orchestra FOK and has long collaborated with leading Czech orchestras and theatres, and is also known as a prominent figure at the Karlín Musical Theatre. Solo guitar Daniel Krob is an experienced musician who has collaborated with personalities of the Czech music scene, such as Anna K, Jakub Smolík, Petr Kolář, Pavel Vítek, Ladislav Křížek and Aleš Brichta, and has also composed songs for some of them. In his work, he sensitively combines classical concert guitar with rock guitar. Moderator: Michaela Gemrotová Štiková has created recordings for Czech Radio, Slovak Radio, Italy Recording Studio and others. Since 2014, she has performed in the musical "The Phantom of the Opera" by Andrew Lloyd Webber, where she plays the lead role of Christine Daaé.
