Klara Quartet presents a new programme of chamber arrangements of songs by ABBA, Beatles and Queen in the interior of the Church of St. Ignatius in Chomutov. Compared to the previous concert, arrangements of newer Beatles songs have been added.

Line-up: Pavel Hrda - first violin, Barbora Klárová - second violin, Libor Kaňka - viola, Václav Fleissig - cello.

About the venue: Church of St. Ignatius

The early Baroque church of St. Ignatius of Loyola stands on náměstí 1. máje as part of a large Jesuit complex. It was designed by Italian architect Carlo Lurago and built between 1663 and 1668. After the Jesuit order was dissolved in 1773, the church served as a garrison chapel; it fell into disrepair after 1948 and only reopened following a restoration in the 1990s. Today it is managed by the Chomutovská knihovna and hosts exhibitions, concerts and guided tours. It has been a listed cultural monument since 1958.
