LITOMYŠL FEST 2026

The thirteenth edition of the summer film and music festival Litomyšl Fest takes place from Wednesday, July 29 to Sunday, August 2, 2026 in the historic centre of Litomyšl. The festival is the first film festival in the Pardubice Region and was established following a relocation from Slavonic after 11 years.

The film programme features over 80 films from around the world in more than 140 screenings across 7 air-conditioned halls with a total capacity of over 1,600 viewers. It includes world premieres, new films, older films unavailable in distribution, documentaries, film curiosities and screenings for children. Foreign films are shown in their original language with Czech subtitles.

The music programme consists of 4 major evening concerts on the First Courtyard (Tři sestry, Tata Bojs, Stromboli, Vltava) and 8 more intimate concerts in the Castle Park – featuring Mutanti hledaj východisko, Berenika Kohoutová, Jiří Schmitzer, Dunaj, The Prostitutes, Garage & Tony Ducháček, Jan Spálený, Točkolotoč and Dorota Nvotová. The festival concludes with a special theatrical performance.

The accompanying programme includes meetings and discussions with filmmakers, a media debate with public figures, talk shows with interesting guests and a children's programme. Pre-sales of accreditations and concert tickets began on May 1, 2026; film tickets can be purchased directly in the halls before each screening. Accommodation can be arranged through the festival coordinator.
