Tenor Štefan Margita performs with the Moravian Piano Trio on Sunday, 13 September 2026 at the Church of St. Stanislaus in Bolatice. The programme features songs and operatic works from the international repertoire, accompanied by piano, violin, and cello. This is one of two Czech dates on his tour - the other takes place in June in Brandýs nad Labem-stará Boleslav. Admission from 590 CZK.

About the venue: Kostel sv. Stanislava

This baroque Roman Catholic parish church in Bolatice, in the Hlučín region, was consecrated in 1703 - traditionally to commemorate the passage of Polish King Jan Sobieski and his army on their way to relieve the Turkish siege of Vienna. It was expanded into a three-nave basilica in 1911-1912 and consecrated by Bishop Karel Wiesnar. The interior features baroque frescoes on the vaulted ceilings, and a wrought-iron cross from the 18th century stands by the side entrance. The complex, including its perimeter wall and the Chapel of St. John of Nepomuk, has been a listed monument since 1964.
