Janek Ledecký performs on 25 July 2026 at Hlučín Lake as part of the Štěrkovna Open Music festival. This is one of seven Czech dates on his summer tour. Hlučín Lake, the largest recreational water body in the Moravian-Silesian region, becomes a hub for water sports and swimming in summer. Beaches, campsites and boat rental facilities line the shores. The open-air concert by the water draws thousands of visitors who come for recreation and entertainment.

About the venue: Hlučín Gravel Pit

Hlučínská štěrkovna - officially Hlučínské jezero - was created in 1990 by flooding a former gravel pit on the southwestern edge of Hlučín. The lake covers over 131 ha with a maximum depth of 4 m, and the surrounding recreational area includes beaches, a wake park, minigolf, a boat rental and a campsite. The international music festival Štěrkovna Open Music takes place here every summer.

About: Janek Ledecký

Born Jan Ledecký on 27 July 1962 in Prague, Janek Ledecký is a Czech singer, guitarist, composer and lyricist who has maintained an active presence in the domestic music scene for over four decades. During the 1980s, he achieved prominence as the frontman of rock band Žentour before establishing a prolific solo career starting in 1992, which has yielded more than a dozen albums to date. In addition to pop-rock compositions such as "Proklínám" and "Na ptáky jsme krátký", he has created internationally performed musicals, most notably Hamlet, which achieved over 1,400 performances and holds the distinction of being the first Czech musical staged in Japan. His daughter Ester Ledecká is a three-time Olympic gold medalist.
