Dřevorockfest 2026 is the 21st edition of a rock open-air festival held in the castle garden grounds in Dřevohostice (Olomouc Region). The festival takes place on Sunday, 5 July 2026 — the feast day of Saints Cyril and Methodius. The venue gates open at 10:30, with the programme starting at 12:30.

Confirmed line-up (alphabetically): Alkehol, Dymytry, Komunál, Krucipüsk, Mňága a Žďorp, Morčata na útěku, Tublatanka, Visací zámek.

Tickets are available in advance on smsticket.cz for 890 CZK; unless otherwise announced, they will also be available on-site for cash. Parking at the official P1 car park (meadow behind the castle garden, including a tent and caravan village) is free. Organisers recommend arriving early due to parking and smooth entry.

About the festival

Dřevorockfest is a one-day rock open-air festival held every year in the castle garden of Dřevohostice, a small town in the Přerov district of the Olomouc Region. It has taken place on 5 July - the Czech public holiday of Saints Cyril and Methodius - since 2006, growing from a local village event into one of the more prominent regional rock festivals in the country. Organiser Aleš Sigmund refreshes the lineup each year, focusing on Czech and Slovak rock and metal acts; bands play from noon well into the night. The 20th anniversary edition in 2025 sold out and was described by the organisers as a record-breaking year.

About: Dymytry

Dymytry is a Prague metal band established in 2003 by guitarist Jiří "Dymo" Urban, the son of Arakain's founder. The ensemble developed the psy-core genre and performs wearing insect-themed masks crafted by artisans from the National Theatre. Albums Revolter and Pharmageddon achieved platinum and gold status respectively, and in 2024 the band made history as the first Czech metal group since Arakain to sell out Prague's O2 Arena. That year also marked a vocal change when Václav Noid Bárta took over as frontman.

About: Tublatanka

Formed in Bratislava in 1982 by guitarist-vocalist Maťo Ďurinda and drummer Juraj Černý, Tublatanka rose to prominence as one of Czechoslovakia's leading hard rock acts during the 1980s. Their third album Žeravé znamenie osudu (1988) achieved sales of 250,000 copies, while their track "Pravda víťazí" gained recognition as an unofficial symbol of the Velvet Revolution. The trio of Ďurinda, Juraj Topor and Peter Schlosser released the album Uprostred chaosu in 2023 and maintains an active touring schedule throughout the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

About: VISACÍ ZÁMEK

Founded in 1982 by five civil engineering students at the Czech Technical University, Visací zámek evolved from a one-off performance into one of Europe's longest-operating punk bands with an unchanged roster. The Prague group features vocalist Jan Haubert, Michal Pixa, Ivan Rut, Vladimír Šťástka and Jiří Pátek, who have remained together for over four decades. Compelled to perform under assumed names during the normalization period, they nevertheless cultivated a dedicated fanbase and were recognized in 2010 with induction into the Czech Beat Hall of Fame by Radio Beat listeners.

Alkehol is a Czech rock band from Prague established in 1992 by guitarists Ota Hereš and Petr "Kuna" Buneš, formerly of the thrash-metal group Kryptor. Their distinctive punk-rock style, sardonic lyrics and pub-culture themes have established them as prominent figures in the Czech rock scene.
