About the venue

The castle garden in Dřevohostice adjoins the 16th-century Renaissance water castle. It was laid out in 1836 on the site of the demolished fortifications as a landscape park with a botanical garden. Today it functions as an open-air cultural venue - home to the annual Dřevorockfest rock festival and a traditional brass band gathering held on the last Sunday of July.
