Light Up the Book! for Adults: Maribo Hypnosis

A scenic sketch of Dory Kaprálová's novel "Maribo Hypnosis".

A book about white and black magic, the meaning of writing, the life of a fly and a hypnotist, about the Maribo miracle. A stroboscopically blurred love novella full of magical realism - an advocacy for the common housefly, a hyperrealistic text railing against the digital parasites of the world, a celebration of love as the highest hypnosis.

The scenic sketch will take place in intimate proximity to the actresses, in the living-room setting of Rezidence Café Kaprál. Following the performance, there will be a discussion with author Dory Kaprálová, who has accepted the invitation. Books will be available for purchase and signing on site.
