Music in the Castle Garden: Jazz Quartet VERVA
from 240 Kč · ≈ 10 €
A concert by Brno's jazz quartet Verva takes place as part of the first edition of the summer festival Music in the Castle Garden.
Verva is made up of Michal Grombiřík (cimbalom), Daniel Kéry (electric guitar), Marek Žemla (double bass), and Hynek Čejka (drums). Their sound is built on an unusual combination of cimbalom with electric guitar and rhythm section - modern jazz interwoven with ambient elements and improvisation. Alongside original compositions, interpretations of jazz tradition will be heard. In 2025 they released their debut album Russafa Archives, recorded in Valencia, Spain, in collaboration with international musicians.
The castle park gates open at 17:15, so you can explore the park before the concert begins. The evening includes a 20-minute intermission, with refreshments available throughout (alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks). In case of bad weather, the concert will move to the ceremonial hall of Belcredi Castle.
