The opening concert evening of the Open Air Cup Dobruška 2026 takes place on Friday, July 3, 2026 at the Václav Šperl Municipal Stadium in Dobruška. Four bands will perform: Čí je to vina?, Márdi, Queenways, and Teplá Buchta.

Refreshments will be available in the stadium grounds.

Václav Šperl Municipal Stadium sits on the edge of Dobruška, centred on a football pitch with a 400-metre tartan running track and sectors for field athletics - high jump, long jump, shot put, javelin and discus. The wider complex includes two grass football pitches, a third-generation artificial turf pitch, three futsal courts, two clay tennis courts and a multi-purpose court. The stadium opened in 1963 and was named after Václav Šperl, whose tireless work was decisive in getting it built. The athletics section later underwent a major renovation, replacing the old cinder track with a modern tartan surface.

Czech band Queenways builds its show on authenticity: frontman Jaroslav Břeský (Bulsara) has trained under Peter Freestone since 2009 and sang at the official Queen-organised tribute to Mercury's 70th birthday in Montreux in 2016. On stage the band plays through a replica of Brian May's Red Special and drums matching Roger Taylor's original kit.

About: Čí je to vina?

Čí je to vina? is a rock band from Dobruška, founded in spring 2011. Their five-piece lineup mixes the usual guitar, bass and drums with mandolin and accordion - a combination they tongue-in-cheek label "Death-Pop". They won the Radio Beat talent contest Naděje Beatu and released the album "Až na Měsíc" in 2020.
