About the venue: Municipal office Celadna

The municipal office of Čeladná serves a village in the Frýdek-Místek District, nestled in the foothills of the Moravian-Silesian Beskydy mountains. The village is first recorded in writing in 1581 and today has around 2,900 inhabitants. The office handles local administration and offers Czech POINT services. About: Jana Kirschner

Jana Kirschner (born 29 December 1978, Martin) is a Slovak singer-songwriter whose work has defined the trajectory of Slovak popular music since 1996. The album V cudzom meste (1999) marked a turning point in her career and was subsequently recognised as one of the 100 greatest Slovak albums in history. Her extended partnership with producer Eddie Stevens has progressively shifted her aesthetic from pop through alternative rock to folk-electronic textures, most prominently on the Moruša diptych (2013-2014) and the album Obyčajnosti (2024).
