Joseph Haydn: Concerto for Cello and Orchestra in C major
Dmitri Shostakovich: Symphony No. 6 in B minor op. 54

Performing: Jing Zhao and Maxim Rysanov.

About: Maxim Rysanov

Maxim Rysanov is a Ukrainian violist and conductor who has established himself on the international stage as a soloist and chamber musician. He has collaborated with major orchestras and conductors worldwide, and is known for his broad repertoire spanning baroque to contemporary music.

About the venue: Reduta

The Reduta on Horní náměstí (Upper Square) in Olomouc is the home venue of the Moravian Philharmonic Orchestra Olomouc, one of the oldest symphony orchestras in the Czech Republic (founded 1945). The hall was opened in 1831 as part of the Empire-style theatre building and originally served as a ballroom. A major reconstruction in 2001 modernised the acoustics and increased seating to 500. The upper floor houses the Mozart Hall, which serves as a foyer anteroom.
