Jana Kirschner (born Jana Kirschnerová, 29 December 1978, Martin) is a Slovak singer-songwriter who has shaped Slovak popular music since her debut in 1996. Her second album V cudzom meste (1999) became a landmark record, later ranked among the 100 greatest Slovak albums of all time. Long-running collaboration with British producer Eddie Stevens has taken her sound from pop through alternative rock to folk-inflected electronica, most fully realised on the Moruša diptych (2013-2014) and the 2024 album Obyčajnosti.
At the beginning of 2026, Jana Kirschner released a series of singles recorded live at Večer Trojkráľový, including a new version of the song Malá zem.
In May 2025, Jana Kirschner released the single Medzi nami, the title song of the Slovak series Lebo medveď.
In February 2025, Jana Kirschner released a music video for the song Malá zem, filmed by Slovak filmmaker Jonáš Karásk.
In January 2025, it was announced that Jana Kirschner would perform at the Pohoda 2025 festival in Trenčín with a program from the album Obyčajnosti.
In March 2024, Jana Kirschner released the album Obyčajnosti, again in collaboration with producer Eddie Stevens; the tour of Slovakia and Czech Republic was sold out.
