from 130 Kč · ≈ 5 €
A travel lecture by Ondra Bačík mapping ten years of expeditions into the Canadian Rocky Mountains. Stories from less-visited areas – Paradise Valley, Pinto Lake, Iceline Trail and Lake O'Hara – as well as from the famous Moraine Lake. The presentation includes footage from the 50 km long Berg Lake Trail to Mt. Robson, the highest peak of the Canadian Rockies, and a visit to the sacred site of the Buffalo Jump in southern Alberta, revered by Indigenous peoples. The lecture also covers encounters with bears and how to behave safely on treks. National parks Banff, Jasper, Glacier, Yoho and Waterton Lakes will be featured.
Large-format photographs from Canada and the Jeseníky Mountains, Indigenous crafts and wilderness trophies will be on display at the venue.
