Rusty Anna is dying! How will she secure a place in paradise when she has ruled her subjects cruelly her whole life, sinned, and squandered her wealth on gambling? A piece of holy relic for every sin! An obliging merchant is happy to flip through his catalogue, advise, and sell. How much will Anna pay for her redemption? That could be quite a (un)decent business. So let relics flourish! The production is loosely based on the legend of Rusty Anna, a countess from the Moravian Střílek, and the phenomenon of collecting relics and storing them in figurative reliquaries.

About the venue: Baroque Complex Kuks

The Baroque Complex Kuks is a national cultural monument in Trutnov District, founded by Count Franz Anton von Sporck at the end of the 17th century. Its centrepiece is the hospital with the Church of the Holy Trinity, sculptures by Matthias Braun, and one of the oldest Baroque pharmacies in Europe. Managed by the National Heritage Institute, it offers exhibitions on Baroque art, history, and pharmacy. A major restoration in 2010–2015 earned the complex the Europa Nostra Grand Prix.

Actress Claudia Eftimiadisová is one of the pillars of Geisslers Hofcomoedianten, working at the crossroads of baroque theatre, clowning and commedia dell'arte. As both a co-creator of scripts and a performer, she can traverse an entire spectrum of characters - from grotesque to lyrical - within a single evening.

Prague-based actress Lucie Valenová is a core member of the Geisslers Hofcomoedianten ensemble, working at the crossroads of baroque theatre, physical performance and puppetry. She took home the Jihočeská Thálie prize in 2018 for her work on the Revolving Stage in Český Krumlov.
