
GEISSLERS HOFCOMOEDIANTEN: Theatre of Light

Lucie Valenová (born 6 April 1987, Prague) is a Czech actress specialising in alternative and puppet theatre. She trained at KALD DAMU and grew up in a family of set designers and puppeteers, performing since the age of seven. After a stint at the Malé divadlo in České Budějovice (2016-2020), she joined the Geisslers Hofcomoedianten ensemble and works concurrently at Divadlo A. Dvořáka Příbram, Divadlo Minor and other Prague stages. Her portrayal of Lady Jane Roxton in Ztracený svět earned her the Jihočeská Thálie award in 2018.
In March 2026, the musical fairy tale Maceška premiered at the Minor Theatre (directed by Petr Hašek), where Valenová plays one of the roles.
In September 2025, the production Projekt Casanova: Jak voní ramlice premiered, a Czech-German project by Geisslers Hofcomoedianten in collaboration with the Dresden theatre Theaterkahn, in which Valenová plays one of the main roles.
In May 2025, the production Rezavá Anna aneb Zač je toho kost! premiered, an all-female production by Geisslers Hofcomoedianten, in which Valenová plays alongside Claudia Eftimiadis.
In March 2024, the immersive production Alchymisti - Zlatodějný teatrolab premiered, where Valenová is among the main cast.
