UNTERWASSER: Out is a visual, multidisciplinary puppet theatre performance about coming of age, told through the language of puppetry. The protagonist's initiation journey leads him out of his home—a metaphor for certainty—and introduces him to a relationship with the world and its inevitable contradictions. The poetic language of the various techniques used transports audiences into a dream dimension and conveys a universal message through archetypes. The performance is intended for adults, though children can also enjoy it.
