Cock Sparrer is a British punk band from London, active since the mid-1970s. They are considered pioneers of the Oi! and street punk genres and have influenced countless bands worldwide. Their 1983 album Shock Troops is regarded as a classic of the genre.

About the venue: BARRÁK music club

BARRÁK music club is a multi-genre music venue in Ostrava, originally opened in September 2011 in the renovated premises of the former Prostor-Tančírna club near Sýkorův most. Since September 2023 it has been located in a former sokolovna building in the Přívoz district, offering a larger stage and audience capacity. The club hosts concerts by Czech and international acts spanning metal, hardcore, punk, rock, pop and hip hop. Past performers include world-renowned acts such as Agnostic Front, Sick Of It All and Mayhem.
