Olomouc Quartet brings Vivaldi's Four Seasons to Červený kostel in Brno on Saturday, 18 July 2026. The candlelit concert features Vivaldi's celebrated cycle alongside works by Massenet, Smetana, and Schubert, with a total duration of 65 minutes. This is the ensemble's third Brno performance as part of its 2026 Czech tour, which also includes dates in Ostrava. The Červený kostel, a nineteenth-century evangelical church on Komenského náměstí in central Brno, provides an intimate setting for the programme. Admission from 400 CZK.

About the venue: Red Church

The Evangelical Church of Jan Amos Comenius, popularly known as the Red Church (Červený kostel), stands on Komenského náměstí in the centre of Brno. It was built between 1863 and 1867 to a design by Viennese architect Heinrich von Ferstel in the North German Brick Gothic style. Upon completion it became the first large non-Catholic church in Brno. The three-aisled interior (45 m long, tower 51 m) features a marble pulpit, an altar, and a Rieger organ from 1887; its fine acoustics make it a regular venue for concerts and cultural events.
