Olomouc Quartet brings the concert To nejlepší z muzikálů to Brno on Saturday, 13 June 2026 at Červený kostel on Komenského náměstí. This is one of five Czech tour dates for the string quartet, which also includes performances in Ostrava and additional June and July shows in Brno. Červený kostel, the Evangelical Church of John Amos Comenius built in 1863–1867, provides an authentic setting for the 65-minute programme. The concert features melodies from Czech and international musicals, including works by Karel Svoboda and Petr Hapka. Admission from 400 CZK.

About the venue: Red Church

The Evangelical Church of Jan Amos Comenius, popularly known as the Red Church (Červený kostel), stands on Komenského náměstí in the centre of Brno. It was built between 1863 and 1867 to a design by Viennese architect Heinrich von Ferstel in the North German Brick Gothic style. Upon completion it became the first large non-Catholic church in Brno. The three-aisled interior (45 m long, tower 51 m) features a marble pulpit, an altar, and a Rieger organ from 1887; its fine acoustics make it a regular venue for concerts and cultural events.
