An exhibition dedicated to Maria Bartuszová (1936–1996), one of the most remarkable sculptors who developed an original sculptural language based on the relationships between matter, emptiness, and touch. Visitors will see key aspects of her work from early biomorphic sculptures through experiments with gravity-stimulated casting.

Muzeum umění Olomouc is a state-run art museum and collection institution under the Czech Ministry of Culture, founded in 1951 and today managing over 200,000 objects. It operates across two main sites: the Museum of Modern Art in an Art Nouveau building on Denisova Street, focused on 20th- and 21st-century art, and the Archdiocesan Museum in the Přemyslid Castle complex, which includes the Romanesque palace of Bishop Jindřich Zdík. A kinetic sculpture by David Černý, "Lupič" (The Thief), is mounted on the cornice of the Denisova Street building.
