International Music Festival Pavel Šporcl - iPalpiti

Lesní Mlýn, Mariánské Lázně

from 990 Kč · ≈ 41 €

The iPalpiti Orchestra of international award-winning musicians is coming to Mariánské Lázně as part of the Stars over the Vltava festival (5th edition, June 20 – July 6, 2026). The festival's solo guest and director is Czech violin virtuoso Pavel Šporcl, who is also an alumnus of the iPalpiti project. The iPalpiti Orchestra (the name comes from the Italian expression for "heartbeat") brings together acclaimed musicians from 21 countries around the world. The ensemble was founded in 1991 by maestro Eduardo Schmieder, professor at Temple University in Philadelphia. The international press has praised it for "beautiful string playing", "brilliant, polished tone" and "vocal quality". The orchestra has performed in prestigious halls such as Concertgebouw (Amsterdam), Carnegie Hall (New York) and Disney Hall (Los Angeles), and has been invited as a resident ensemble at festivals in Salzburg and at the Martha Argerich Festival in Japan. The programme offers a diverse selection of works by European composers – both well-known and lesser-performed – and presents music as a universal language connecting cultures. The concert takes place in the Lesní Mlýn area in Mariánské Lázně. The same orchestra with Pavel Šporcl will also perform in Karlovy Vary (June 23, 2026).
