Petr Tomeček / Classics for Millions

Petr Tomeček brings the Classics for Millions project to Mariánské Lázně on Wednesday, 31 March 2027 at the Municipal Theatre. The Art Nouveau building on Třebízského Street has stood in the spa town since 1868 - predating the foundation stone of Prague's National Theatre. The concert pairs classical composers with modern arrangements for Pan flute, performed by Tomeček. Works by Bach, Gounod, Beethoven and Dvořák's aria "The Moon High in the Sky" will be heard in fresh interpretations. Tomeček is touring the Czech Republic across nine dates from July 2026 through late 2026, with this Mariánské Lázně performance as one of the stops. Projections and lighting effects complement the evening.
