iPalpiti is an international chamber string orchestra made up of prize-winning young professional musicians from around the world. Violinist and educator Eduard Schmieder founded the ensemble in 1991, and since 1998 it has hosted an annual Festival of International Laureates in Los Angeles - based in Beverly Hills, with grand finales at venues including Walt Disney Concert Hall and, from 2024, Ambassador Auditorium in Pasadena. The orchestra has performed at Carnegie Hall, the Concertgebouw and Walt Disney Concert Hall, and has released over 25 recordings, four of which received Grammy nominations. Alumni have gone on to hold leading positions in orchestras from the Chicago Symphony to the Berlin Philharmonic.
In August 2025, the live recording On Wings of Peace: Live from Los Angeles was released on Boyer College Records, capturing the final concert of the 27th festival from July 2024 at Ambassador Auditorium in Pasadena.
In July 2025, the 28th iPalpiti Festival took place in Beverly Hills (July 18-22), whose program included, among other things, works by Ravel on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the composer's birth.
At the 27th festival (July 2024), 24 laureates from 19 countries performed; the final concert took place for the first time at the historic Ambassador Auditorium in Pasadena.
