Asonance

Asonance are acclaimed performers of Irish and Scottish ballads, dances, and instrumental compositions. This year the band enters its fiftieth season and brings to Musilka works from their latest album Malcolm.

The band currently performs in the line-up: Jan Lašťovička (artistic director, guitar, electric guitar, bouzouki, Irish uilleann pipes, vocals, Czech lyrics for all songs), Klára Fanta, née Lašťovičková (vocals, flutes), Jan Ráb (violin), Roman Slaboch (vocals, percussion), Petr Bohuslav (vocals, guitar, mandolin), Luboš Pick (bass guitar, guitar, bouzouki, vocals), Mirko Rokyta (keyboards, vocals), Jan Gajdoš Doležal (drums), and Petra Sladká (vocals). The band is regularly joined by Veronika Chudobová (violin) and recently also by Anna Mrvová (flutes).
