Asonance brings its traditional Christmas concert to KC Semilasso in Brno on 17 December 2026. The group celebrates 50 years of activity with Irish and Scottish songs and ballads. KC Semilasso is a cultural centre in the Královo Pole neighbourhood, named after the pseudonym of a German traveller and garden architect. This Christmas concert is one of five Czech dates on the band's tour, which also includes performances in Benešov, Prague, Černošice, and Plzeň. The concert starts at 20:00.

About the venue: KC Semilasso

KC Semilasso is a cultural centre in the Královo Pole district of Brno, located on Palackého třída. Its name derives from the pen name of German traveller and landscape gardener Prince Hermann von Pückler-Muskau, who once stayed at the original inn on the site. Following a major reconstruction completed in 2003, the venue hosts concerts, theatre performances, lectures, exhibitions and an open-air cinema, and also features a pub, a literary café and a garden for outdoor events.

About: Asonance

One of the longest-running folk acts in the Czech Republic, this Prague band has performed Irish and Scottish ballads, reels, jigs and hornpipes since 1976, with Czech lyrics by Jan Lašťovička and instruments ranging from uilleann pipes to bouzouki.
