A group of actors gathers for a theatre rehearsal, but the director doesn't show up. One of the actors leaves for a rival company, and the entire rehearsal teeters on the brink of collapse. Andrea takes charge, and under the pretext of securing a grant, she takes over the direction herself.

The group attempts to stage a historical play about Jan Žižka – in a way that has a very personal relationship to traditional historical interpretation. In the second half of the performance, the actors don historical costumes and the comedy transforms into a bizarre, exaggerated spectacle with absurd humour and unexpected turns.
