BRUTUS rock at Háječek :D
Háječek - Summer Parquet, Heřmaničky
Concert by Czech rock band BRUTUS at the Háječek open-air venue in Heřmaničky near Votice (BN).
BRUTUS is a Czech rock and dance group that describes their style as "true bigbeat" and is considered a legend of Czech dance bigbeat. At concerts, the band plays for approximately four hours - roughly 60-70 songs per evening. Their total repertoire includes over 100 compositions, featuring covers of British and American rock and roll musicians (Chuck Berry, The Shadows, The Kinks, Eddie Cochran, Bob Dylan and others). The lyrics are mostly cheerful - about love, drinking, dancing and rock and roll, some even dadaist in nature. In 1997, the band released a compilation album Best of Brutus; among their best-known songs are Dlažební kostka, Hej kámo, Hospody hospody a restaurace, Gorila, První polibek, Opijem se, Dej se políbit, Dřív než zaplatíš, Somráci, Plakej dívko, Poslední přání, Zdá se mi and Kdo na to má.
