CAMP Tour: Prague-Smíchov Railway Station

Smíchovské nádraží is gradually transforming into a modern transport hub that brings together rail, city, and suburban transport in one place - with seamless transfers from tram or bus directly to train. The modernization includes a new vestibule, barrier-free access to platforms, and improved connections between different transport modes. One of the most striking elements of the transformation is the relocation of the bus station directly above the railway station, creating a compact interchange node integrated with the surrounding urban structure.

A guided tour led by Patrik Karadim from the Railway Administration will showcase the newly opened platforms, the principles behind the entire reconstruction, and how the new station fits into the evolving Smíchov district and the development of a new urban quarter.
