New Jewish Cemetery at Olsany — Nový židovský hřbitov, Prague

As the Prague Jewish community grew, the need for larger burial grounds became apparent. The New Jewish Cemetery was opened in 1889 and originally designed to accommodate burials for 100 years - however, this capacity proved insufficient, and the cemetery was later expanded.

During the tour, participants will learn about notable figures buried here - one of the most recent being Mrs. Yvonna Prenosilova. The cemetery also bears the mark of many renowned sculptors who created gravestones here, including Josef Fanta, Jan Kotera, and Jan Stursa.

Practical Information:
- Meeting point: at the cemetery entrance from Zelivsky Street - see main image
- Duration: approximately 1.5 hours
- Guide: Eva Kuzelova
- Tickets can be purchased on-site only if the tour capacity has not been reached - please confirm current availability with the organizer.
- The organizer reserves the right to cancel the tour if there is insufficient interest. Participants with tickets will be notified of cancellation, and payment will be refunded to their account.
