Plzen Republic Day Celebrations: How Are You Doing, Czech Republic and Slovakia? — Moving Station, Pilsen

An annual public discussion featuring Czech and Slovak cultural and public figures. The event addresses current topics in social life in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Europe, and the world.

About the venue: Moving Station

Moving Station is an alternative cultural venue housed in the former departure building of the Plzeň – Jižní Předměstí railway station. Since 2000 it has served as a stage for contemporary theatre, dance and interdisciplinary artistic experiments; a 2015 renovation added artist residency programmes. Operator Johan, z.ú. organises the Nastevřeno festival and co-organises Tanec Praha and the International Festival Divadlo. The venue also includes a café and exhibition space.
