A solo recital by Jaromír Nohavica with guitar and helicon, featuring well-known songs and new material from his latest album "Máma mi dala na krk klíč". He is accompanied by Warsaw-based musician Robert Kusmierski (accordion, piano) and Pavel Plánka from Plzeň (percussion, drums).

The concert lasts approximately 2 hours, is performed without intermission, and is not suitable for children under 15.

About: Jaromír Nohavica

Jaromír Nohavica is a Czech singer-songwriter and poet from Ostrava, one of the most prominent figures in Czech folk and tramp music. His songs are known for their poetic lyrics rooted in Ostrava life and social themes. The band Neřež was founded in 1998 as a continuation of his backing ensemble.

About the venue: Měšťanská beseda

Měšťanská beseda is a Neo-Renaissance building with Art Nouveau décor, erected by the Pilsen citizens' association in 1901 and ceremonially opened on 29 December of that year. Following an extensive renovation completed in 2005, it serves as one of the most important cultural centres in Pilsen. The venue houses several halls and salons, the Beseda Cinema, the Jonáš Theatre and an Art Nouveau café, with a total capacity of over 1,000 persons. Concerts, theatre performances, balls, film screenings, festivals, lectures and children's events take place here almost daily. The building is a listed cultural monument and received the Building of the Year 2005 award.
