Jaromír Nohavica & Guests
Jaromír Nohavica performs a solo recital with guitar and helicon, accompanied by accordionist Robert Kusmierski and percussionist Pavel Plánka, featuring songs from his latest album.
Pavel Plánka (born 1962 in Plzeň) is a Czech drummer and percussionist who trained at the Prague State Conservatory under Professor Miloš Veselý. Over several decades he has been one of the most sought-after session and touring musicians in Czech popular music, working with Jaromír Nohavica, the band Lucie, Daniel Hůlka, Lucie Bílá, Karel Gott and many others. Alongside his stage work he also performs solo sound-painting sets, using an array of metal percussion instruments as a meditative sound experience.
Pavel Plánka performed with Jaromír Nohavica and accordionist Robert Kusmiersky at two sold-out concerts at O2 universum Praha (March 25 and 26, 2025).
For Plánka's 60th birthday, photographer Zdeněk Zrůst published an exclusive photo book mapping ten years of their collaboration.
Plánka participated in the concert performance Four Agreements by Jaroslav Dušek at Congress Centre Parkhotel Plzeň (March 11, 2023).
