Malešice including the Unknown Botanical Garden

A guided walk through Malešice with Prague Unknown.

Participants will learn about a visit by the Soviet Union's general secretary to the construction site of Prague's once-largest housing estate and will stroll through Prague 10's largest park, exploring both its past and future. They will see a building designed by architect Vlad Milunic, creator of the Dancing House, as well as a sacred structure from the 1950s, and will become acquainted with all cultural monuments in the Malešice area.

The Czech Tourists Club route continues through a charming colony of 1950s houses and ends in a forgotten botanical garden with valuable exotic trees, such as Chinese metasequoia and giant sequoia.

- Meeting point: MHD stop Plaňanská (direction Sídliště Malešice)
- Walk duration: 1.5-2 hours (4 km)
- End point: Botanical garden of SOŠ, SOU, OU and Učiliště
- Guide: Jiří Hendrich
- Cancellation policy: up to 24 hours before the start of the walk, you can reschedule your ticket to another date or send a substitute who registers under the original name.
