Vojtik

Concert in memory of Juraj and Matúš and in honour of International Coming Out Day.

Vojtik is a young Slovak singer, composer and producer from Detva who has gained attention for his personal songwriting and the single "Detvanský sen". His music blends pop, art pop, experimental elements and folk traditions, often exploring themes of identity, coming of age, otherness and life in Slovakia. For his debut album "Flowers from Podpoľanie" he received the Radio_Head Award for Best Debut.

At 18:00, the concert will be preceded by a discussion with Radka Trokšiarová and her mother.

Four years ago, Juraj Vankulič and Matúš Horváth were killed outside the Bratislava heating plant. Their murder became a tragic reminder of hatred and violence against LGBTI+ people in Slovakia, affecting not only their loved ones but the entire community.
