Workshop: tsumami kanzashi

Where: Na Můstku 8, Prague 1, 4th floor, large classroom

This workshop introduces participants to the traditional Japanese tsumami zaiku technique, in which fabric squares are folded to create decorative ornaments. Under the guidance of instructor Katarina Mlíchová, you will learn step by step how to shape fabric and create your own original decoration according to your taste - a flower brooch, hair clip, or pin.

Programme: a brief introduction to kanzashi and tsumami zaiku, practical work with fabric and special tools, and creation of your own ornament to take home. The evening includes refreshments.

Age limit: 15 years and up. The price includes a theoretical introduction, material for one ornament of your choice, tool rental, instructor guidance throughout the workshop, and Japanese-style refreshments.
