At Olšany with Interesting Personalities - Part I

A guided walk through the oldest section of Olšany Cemetery.

A recently released series about Božena Němcová briefly brought some 19th-century figures to life, though their stories were sketched only superficially or not at all. It's a shame, because many of them lived fascinating lives - the national revival was far from dull. This walk will introduce you primarily to people from Božena Němcová's circle of friends and her contemporaries.

Important information:
- Meeting point: Olšany Cemetery, at the entrance to Section IV, opposite the City Police office (nearest entrance from Flora shopping centre)
- Duration: approximately 1.5 hours
- End point: Olšany Cemetery
- Children under 15 free
- Advance ticket sales close one hour before the walk begins
- Tickets can be purchased on-site only if capacity has not been reached
- The organizer reserves the right to cancel the walk if there is insufficient interest. Participants with tickets will be notified of cancellation, and payment will be refunded to their account.
