Kafka Band Plays Kafka

Kafka Band is a musical-literary project by Jaroslav Rudiš and Jaromír 99 (authors of the comic Alois Nebel), who together with guitarist and producer Dušan Neuwerth and other musicians — Tomáš Neuwerth, Lukáš Morávek, Zdeněk Jurčík, and Petr Weiser — transform the work of Franz Kafka into alternative-rock form. The lyrics are drawn directly from Kafka's texts.

The band has released three albums inspired by Kafka's novel fragments: Das Schloss – The Castle, Amerika, and Der Process – The Trial. On their autumn tour, they will present a selection from all three records.
