Odysseus and the Journey to Oneself

Why does a story thousands of years old still captivate us? Perhaps because Odysseus's journey is not merely a tale of an ancient hero, but a reflection of our own lives.

We too encounter our Sirens, who tempt us away from our path, our Cyclopes, whom we must outwit, and our Scylla and Charybdis, between which it is not easy to find the right way. Like Odysseus, we search for our Ithaca - the place we truly wish to reach.
