Balkan Bashavel open-air: Malalata + SuzieSmooth + Libuška Bachratá

The Balkan Bashavel open-air festival returns to Špilberk with dancing beneath the fortress walls and views over Brno.

Performing in Brno:

Malalata – a Slovak DJ duo blending Balkan beats, world music, reggae and gypsy sounds into energetic sets. They have performed across Europe and in Japan and Mexico, and have played festivals including Pohoda, Colours of Ostrava, Sziget and Grape.

SuzieSmooth – a DJ and dancer from Prague combining house, afrohouse and Latin rhythms in her sets.

Libuška Bachratá – a dancer, choreographer and teacher working at SĽUKe, specializing in flamenco, folk and Romani dance. At Špilberk she will lead a dance workshop bridging tradition with contemporary energy.
