Steamboat over Atlantis

A concert celebrating the 80th anniversary of the launch of river transport on the Brno Reservoir and the 520th anniversary of Kryštof's death.

Brno Contemporary Orchestra under the direction of Pavel Šnajdr will perform works by Emil František Burian ("Children's Songs op. 75"), Karel Husa ("Twelve Moravian Songs" in an arrangement for BCO by Pavel Šnajdr) and Silvestre Revueltas ("5 Canciones para niños y 2 canciones profanas" and "Homenaje a Federico García Lorca").

The concert is part of the BCO's season titled MARGINS, which moves through the space between reality and unreality, fact and fiction, religion and mythology.
