Democratic Revolution Through the Lens of Dagmar Hochová — Pražák Palace, Brno

Dagmar Hochová (1926-2012) was a documentary photographer who documented subjects officially overlooked - protest actions, marginalized intellectual and artistic elites, social care institutions. When the communist regime fell in November 1989, she was elected to the Czech National Council, where she photographed both the behind-the-scenes work of parliament and the social transformations of that era.

The lecture by curator Jiří Pátek is part of the nationwide Week of Freedom organized by the organization Díky, že můžem. More information at tydensvobody.cz.
