Václav Hýsek, former head of the Budějovice murder investigation unit and co-author of the book "Budějovická mordparta: Skutečné zločiny z jihu Čech" (True Crimes from South Bohemia), will discuss details of three cases that shook South Bohemia: the murder of prostitute Gabriela Supekova (which the authors managed to solve while writing the book), the crimes of triple murderer Jaroslav Hejny, and the case of double murderer Jaroslav Steinbauer.

The evening will also include a behind-the-scenes look at the work of criminal investigators. The event takes place on 2 February 2027 at KD Šeříkovka in Plzeň.

About the venue: KD Šeříkovka

KD Šeříkovka is a cultural centre in the Slovany district of Plzeň, whose foundation stone was laid in 1971 and which opened in 1986. The main hall holds up to 260 people in theatre seating or up to 700 standing for concerts. The venue hosts a wide range of events including concerts, theatre performances, balls, graduation balls, lectures, exhibitions and corporate events. A brewery tap is also part of the complex.
