The Beauty of Japanese Nature
Tue, 10 Nov 2026 · 19:00
Japan is far more than cities, temples, and historical monuments - its natural contrasts are equally remarkable. Active volcanoes, sulfur lakes, coral reefs, ancient rainforests: the diversity of Japanese nature is striking.
The lecture will explore the landscapes of Honshu, Kyushu, Yakushima, and Okinawa. Topics include diving at coral reefs, swimming with sea turtles, and observing deer, macaques, and the rare Okinawan king pheasant.
