Description was written before the event

A concert project celebrating the music and legacy of Petr Hapka, one of the most distinctive composers of film and popular music in the Czech Republic.

The evening takes audiences on an imaginary journey to Petr Hapka's legendary garage in Okoř - a space filled with objects, memories, and inspirations that shaped his creative work. The programme features well-known and lesser-known songs from the 1960s and 1970s, originally performed by rising stars of Czech pop music: Karel Gott, Hana Hegerová, Hana Zagorová, Karel Zich, and others.

The evening is hosted by prominent figures from the Czech and Slovak music scene who regularly return to perform: Michal Malátný, Kateřina Marie Tichá, Jitka Čvančarová, Petra Hapková, Hana Holišová, Sára Milfajtová, Lenka Nová, Jan Maxián, Dušan Kollár, Petra Hřebíčková, Jan Sklenář, and others. The dramaturgy, arrangements, and musical direction are handled by Haštal Hapka.
